Pic of Rick, my husband. With his cast. He's always been the picture of health, so I think this is especially difficult for him. He's always waited on me.... I know, I know.... terrible! But he's so good about it and just does it. Well, now I am waiting on him and it's good for me. You see the ice water there? I prepared it and gave it to him. WOOHOO! :)

He tore his achilles tendon terribly about 2 months ago playing basketball. Got surgery on it last week.

I am literally falling asleep here at the laptop. I need to go to bed! NIGHT!

I'm in a lovely treasury: here.
I need to figure out how to take a screen shot! I heard you can do it in picnik?

Show Booth

Thought I'd share my booth with you all. :)

I do the On Broadway Farmer's Market show in Green Bay every Wednesday from June through October. I also do other various shows, normally in the fall.

I sell my pendants, magnets, gadget cases (yet to list on etsy), zipper pulls, and occasional art pieces as well.

My pendant displays are super easy. They are black (painted) pegboards that I unscrew to the base that my husband made for me. Easy to transport and they don't take up much room. I hate stuff laying on tables at shows, so this is perfect! Right at eye level. All the pendants are in cello bags and have pennies (2!) in each one or the wind just takes em sometimes (let's not talk about wind! Last week my booth neighbor's canopy flew onto my booth).

I use a heavy dropcloth from Home Depot as my tablecloth. Nice and thick and earthy. Doesn't wrinkle easily.

The table is a foldable banquet table. I use bed risers under the feet to bring it up so customers can see everything well without stooping.

The magnet board is on a easel that has a bungie cord holding it up.

I bring a bar stool and normally sit on that so I'm upright more than sitting on a regular chair, looking a bit too relaxed. I don't like vendors standing and staring at me when I look, but I also don't like them to be sitting so comfortably, kwim? So a high stool is perfect! :D I want to be *available*, but not pushy.

DRAWING tomorrow!

Hi everyone,

I'm so so so sorry, but I'm going to have to do the drawing tomorrow, as I had a show tonight and it was soooooooooo challenging! The wind was horrendous.... just terrible. The canopy next to us fell onto our booth, knocked over my husband's scooter and much of my display. Thankfully no one got hurt!

Anyway, I'm exhausted and need to get some rest so I'm not a BEAR tomorrow for my poor family! :P

I put up FOUR new art pendants in my etsy shop! All of them were created from prints of my aceos that I used to sell on ebay *back in the day*.

Hope everyone's having a great week!

A Print from Michele Maule!

I bought a darling print from the spectacular artist michele maule! I'm going to frame it and put it in my kitchen. I'm hoping this summer our kitchen will get a fresh coat of paint... my print would look so much better then!

Michele uses gorgeous lustre paper and packages it on backing board in a cello bag. Then ties a cute little card onto it with cool string. Such adorable packaging!
