first table

Rick and I have been working on designing a "holey" table (similar to our holey shelves) that can be shipped flat (legs not attached) to save on shipping and to avoid packaging huge boxes. We are very ANTI BIG BOXES! USPS has new rates that take into effect the size of the box. I personally would prefer to pay less on shipping and put it together myself. I hope this is how most people think. I also think the table would be more secure if it was shipped flat versus put together. Thoughts anyone?? Would needing to assemble a table make you not want to buy it?
