I survived
Whew, I survived spring break... kids home, horrible weather, blah-blah-blah! We are all getting cranky in Wisconsin right now. This is such a hard time of year for us here! My girls are 6 and 15, so it's sorta like we have two only children. My little one is constantly wanting a *friend over*.
Of course I always waste tons of time when my kids go back to school... I sorta need a day to get back into the swing of things. I spent a good 2 hours on the phone with my mom, complaining mostly! And, I got some new address labels posted on etsy (above pic). These are so cute! I made some for our family and some shop stickers, too. I need to figure out how to use photoshop better and do the text and image stuff there (used avery). I can't get the layering thing! If anyone wants to tell me how to do this and work with me a bit on this one thing, I'll send them a set of labels free! :)
For those of you who keep up with my life, you know my husband lost his job in January. He's working as a school bus driver part-time until he can find a permanent, full-time job in his field. He'd kill me if he knew I was posting him in his bus, but I find it soooooo adorable! The unemployment rate here in Green Bay is at at whopping 12%, so it's very scarey.
Take care everyone!

This youtube video has been in the news a lot lately, but I thought I'd share in case you missed it. I could watch this over and over again.

LAPTOP NEEDED -- TRADE??
Anyone have a used laptop you'd like to trade for any of my artwork, jewelry, etc. in my etsy shop? Laptop doesn't need to be great, but does need to be fast enough to surf the web, get emails, etc... 1 GB minimum preferred. Size doesn't matter, nor condition, as long as it works!

New Sculpture!
I've wanted to try making a doll out of a transfer for a while and finally did it! I love her! She turned out lighter than I would have liked, so I got my watercolor markers and ink out and just love how she turned out! The pics aren't great (no sun here today, so had to use the white box), but she's just lovely in real life!
Rick (hubby) is plugging away (lost his job in January). He's seriously considering going to school to get his associates degree in Corrections Science. He wants to work with juveniles (adolescent or teen boys). This is something he's wanted to do for so many years! It will be very hard to make it for two years if he does go, but we're gonna just take it a day at a time and plug through!
